Thanks, Ralph and Kurtis. I'm downloading gnuradio 3.4.2 and following the directions as given on the webpage http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/UsingLibusrpWith3_5 I'm having a problem running the make -j<N> command. It gives me a syntax error and I think it's actually a typo. I ran make -help on the terminal in ubuntu and among others it listed out make -j [N] so I tried running that instead. but it gives me an error "make: *** No rule to make target '[N]'. Stop." I tried running just make -j but that makes my computer stuck. any suggestions, please? ________________________________________ From: Ralph A. I have tried the solution to run this command before the ./configure command : export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig But this has not worked. The error persists. Please suggest solutions!
