ok, thank you all. i think i got the point. does somebody know here i can buy a complete usrp1 with external clock included? i checked the olifantasia web site and found one ... any other site? also, even though i don't have the external clock yet, i'd like to ask what command i should use in extensions.conf to be able to send sms from cell phone to cell phone. for example, i know that it is "dial" for calls, what's the command for sending sms from mobile phone to mobile phone? i asked in the asterisk forum and told me the following: "It is not intended for use over SIP and will almost certainly not work with a GSM codec (or any other vocoder codec). It is not intended to go anywhere near an air interface on the Asterisk side of the PSTN exchange. To use it for sending SMS between two cell phones, you need to send the SMS from one via a commercial network to a landline number, attached to Asterisk via a DAHDI interface, extract the message and address information and send it out via another landline to a landline SMS service centre which then transmits it to a commercial mobile phone network and on to the destination phone." thnaks in advance, On Wed, 2011-08-24 at 12:40 -0300, David A. Of course you have problems. You're supposed to have problems because you have a bad clock. Messages describing such problems are just spam; they contain no information. Go read the wiki and fix your clock. > > -- David > > > On Aug 24, 2011, at 8:19 AM, Tomas Kopsa wrote: > > > Hi Walter, > > > >> i'm using openbts and asterisk 1.8 and 2 cell phones (motorola w6 both). > >> whenever i dial one specific cell phone (which has Supersim) it rings > >> and I can answer the phone.
