Opcion Font Viewer / News: Recent posts

It has been over three years since Opcion was released and now Java has outgrown it. Therefore, quite a few Windows users will find that the .exe version will not run with the latest version of Java, this is because Opcion v1.1.1 .exe was set to a maximum verison of Java 1.5.9.

For the time being, please use the JAR version. I believe it still works.

A new minor update will be available in September.

Version 1.1.0 of Opcion Font Viewer has been released. Improvements include the following: Integrated list view into main window. Integrated favourite fonts into the main window. Favourite fonts can now be viewed like system/other fonts. Added bold, italic and underline functionality for sample text.

This is the debut release of Opcion Font Viewer. The purpose of Opcion Font Viewer is to allow the user to view fonts, see how they would appear applied to their name/logo/tagline, and keeping track of which fonts best suit the job. Opcion allows you to view both installed and uninstalled fonts individually or many at a time.
