Rick liked the way they are done on your ref card and I finally > agreed that it was at least an ok representation. > Actually, I like the refCard representation of inherited classes better myself. But when I saw the way you had laid out the inheritance trees, I tried to adapt to that style. :) > The class graphics are done with Open Office Draw. That yellow color > is the only yellow available. Sorry. > If you click on the color-drop-down and scroll to the very bottom of it, you get a few of the fader yellow colors. If you look at my very first example, you'll see that I attached an OO draw file for you to inspect and to edit, in case you like it. Just double-click on the table-representation and you are in the midst of the OO calc-spreadsheet, being able to do everything one can do with calc. Once you click outside of it, you are back in OO draw. Selecting the draw representation of the embedded OO calc sheet, you can export it as a PNG! > As to size, I tried reducing (scaling down) the graphis but that > sometimes eliminated some of the connection lines! The fonts I can deal with but Mark M. already asked that > they not be reduced any further as they become hard to read for some > people. > In the meantime I posted another version with a font-size of eight. Probably we can go up to 10, 12, using three columns which then would span the entire page (which would be probably fine). Will post another version using a larger point size and adhering the inherited mixin as in the refCard renderings. > So we have some disagreements about all this. All this needs some kind > of compromise. > Yes, but I think everything is doable in a way that satisfies all of us earlier or later ... ;) Regards, ---rony |
