Category: None Group: None >Status: Pending >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) >Assigned to: Lee Peedin (pragmatic_lee) Summary: Eliminate OS/2-Windows type usage in portable code. Initial Comment: The portable interpreter kernel still uses the type conventions inherited from its OS/2 days. Types like CHAR, LONG, INT, etc. should be removed and replaced with either the native types or more specific type values (e.g., size_t, offset_t, stringsize_t, wholenumber_t, etc.). For integer values, the ansi portable size types should be used when size matters (int32_t, int64_t, etc.). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Date: 2007-10-21 10:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=191588 Originator: NO I'm going to start working on this task.
