Category: Interpreter Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Rony G. Flatscher (orexx) >Assigned to: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Summary: Bug with var() ? Initial Comment: The uploaded testUnit shows a bug in the context of using the VAR()-BIF. The testcase "test_Result_with_Exit_ADDRESSING_ExternalFile_1_works" invokes an external Rexx program as a command (using ADDRESS) and therefore retrieves the return code via "RC". Everything works as expected. The testcase "test_Result_with_Exit_ADDRESSING_ExternalFile_2_bombs" is a copy of the above, except that the SAY-statement right before the assertion for "subTest2" is commented, and hence not executed. It seems that in this case the var()-BIF in the assertion does not yield .true. The testUnit is uploaded with this bug report. You need to use the latest version (ooRexxUnit-0.0.8 as distributed via the developers list) to run it. (It also demonstrates the usage of "setUp" and "tearDown".) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=1335037&group_id=119701 |
