No, that is not correct. If you want to specify the selected image argument, it is the 5th argument. All arguments are optional, so you can omit the first 4 arguments, but the selected image argument still has to be the 5th argument: insert( , , , , 7) would insert an item with no text for a label as the last child of the root item with no non-selected icon. The selected image icon for the inserted item would be at index 7 of the image list.
