Category: None Group: 4.0 >Status: Closed Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Assigned to: Lee Peedin (pragmatic_lee) Summary: Eliminate use of long integers in kernel code. Initial Comment: Longs pose an interesting portability problem in the code. When going to 64-bit systems, on Unix systems, a long becomes 64-bit, and can no longer be used interchangeably with ints as is currently done in the code. On Windows systems, a long stays 32-bit, and will cause different behavior. Use of longs should be standardized to the correct integer type in any of the contexts where they are used, and integer types need to be applied consistently across the code. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=1004872&aid=1816524&group_id=119701 |
