Category: Platform Interface Group: v4.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: John P. Hartmann (jphartmann) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: parse pull on unix needs a loving hand Initial Comment: Whatever is used to read a line in rexxtry on unix needs to do some kind of escape/kill processing. I am unable to backspace or c-H to correct typing mistakes. err^?^?^H Oooops ! ... try again. Invalid character in program Incorrect character in program "" ('7F'X) The three characters after err are backspace, shift backspace, and ctl-H. Some use the readline library, which also does history so that one can repeat previous lines and edit them to suit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=3058536&group_id=119701 |
