I keep getting: Error 43.1: Could not find routine "UNAME" or Error 43.1: Could not find routine "GETENV" depending on which I run. I have the: call RxFuncAdd 'SysLoadFuncs','rexxutil','SysLoadFuncs' call SysLoadFuncs including in my script, but this is not helping. Why are these not working? What else do I need to do on my install? I used to be on ver 3.2 so to make sure, it is not me, I downloaded the latest version and installed. It still is not working. All help appreciated! Thanks! I don't see anything like that in the docs, going back to ooRexx 3.0.0. There is a built in function: userID() that you can probably use instead of UNAME() The simplest answer to your question of why are thes not working, is that they are not a part of ooRexx. If you are on a unix, you can pass the commands to the outside environment: "uname" uname should work on all unixes. getenv will depend on the shell in use. I don't think all shells support getenv, but I guess all the common shells do. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684731&aid=2874171&group_id=119701 |
