Category: External Functions Group: v4.0beta >Status: Closed >Resolution: Duplicate Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: James Johnson (wburgmo) Assigned to: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Summary: REX121: Storage for data queues is exhausted. Initial Comment: On a linux system, OpenSuse 11.1, the following command fails: 'echo $HOME | rxqueue' The error message "REX121: Storage for data queues is exhausted." is always returned. A similar command runs on Windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: James Johnson (wburgmo) Date: 2009-06-27 15:45 Message: The problem was indeed with rxapi. I don't know why but it was either not running or disabled. Not sure which. I rebooted and the command worked. I am using the 4381 rpm. I am closing this bug report. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mark Miesfeld (miesfeld) Date: 2009-06-27 14:34 Message: James, Could you do two things and give me the results. 1.) su to root after the command fails and retry the command. I'd like to see if it then works. 2.) After you reboot, before you do anything with Rexx, run the following command and let us know if rxapi is running: # ps aux | grep rx Well, a couple other things I gues. Did you install from one of the beta builds on SourceForge, one of the rpms? If so which one? Or did you build from a source tarball from SourceForge? Or did you build from a svn check out, if so what revision. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2009-06-27 13:46 Message: Mark, I believe this is a duplicate of 2811738 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=2813308&group_id=119701 |
