Category: None Group: v4.0beta Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Rony G. Flatscher (orexx) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Trapped syntax condition not cleared Initial Comment: If a Rexx program traps a syntax condition and returns, then CheckCondition() indicates that the syntax condition is still active, although it got trapped and handled. Create the exe file from the uploaded archive, running "nmake". "01_first.rex" will be run, which will call "02_second.rex", which may raise a condition, depending on the received argument. a) rexx.exe: just cause a syntax condition to be raised by "02_second.rex"; will show the syntax error message rexx 01_first.rex name=a raise=syntax b) simpleRW.exe: will invoke "01_first.rex" with the same arguments as a) above; upon return ConditionCheck() returns 1 (expected) simpleRW.exe name=b_native raise=syntax c) rexx.exe: cause a syntax condition to be raised by "02_second.rex", trap it in "01_first.rex";will NOT show the syntax error message as it got trapped rexx 01_first.rex name=c raise=syntax signalon d) simpleRW.exe: will invoke "01_first.rex" with the same arguments as c) above; upon return ConditionCheck() returns 1 (not o.k., should be cleared by trapping it) simpleRW.exe name=d_native raise=syntax signalon ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Rony G. Flatscher (orexx) Date: 2009-06-01 01:37 Message: O.K., done. Is it possible to raise the limit for uploaded files? Currently, there is a limit of 256 KB, hence the need for splitting up the archive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Rick McGuire (bigrixx) Date: 2009-06-01 01:32 Message: Rony, in the future please include a compiled .exe file. Your makefiles are set up for your environment, which is not necessarily the same environment as the person working on the problem. A lot of time is wasted just trying to get the sample program to compile. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=684730&aid=2799237&group_id=119701 |
