I should point out that I am using a pre-existing installation of postgresql. I manually created the database using psql and I edited the postgresql paths in the configuration file described it is windows install instructions. Currently there were no tables, schema, or other entities created from the restore process. So I don't expect that you'll see much beyond the CREATE DATABASE sql statement in the sql dump file. -- Regards, Richard Broersma Jr. Visit the Los Angeles PostgreSQL Users Group (LAPUG) http://pugs.postgresql.org/lapug |

While following the instructions for "Windows Installation" in the section "Loading the once:radix Tables into the Database," I getting the above mentioned error when I attempt: Right-click then select File > Restore (or type Ctrl-E). Select a database backup from the list, then click Restore. My PostgreSQL logs show the following: 2009-08-27 08:39:17 PDTSTATEMENT: create database onceradix with encoding = UTF8; 2009-08-27 08:40:18 PDTERROR: schema "mail" does not exist at character 36 2009-08-27 08:40:18 PDTSTATEMENT: SELECT mail.message."primary" FROM mail.message WHERE mail.message."status"<>1 ORDER BY mail.message."senddate" 2009-08-27 08:42:53 PDTERROR: schema "security" does not exist at character 40 2009-08-27 08:42:53 PDTSTATEMENT: SELECT s."username" AS "username" FROM "security"."usersecurity" s, "security"."loginhistory" h WHERE h."fkusersecurity" = s."primary" AND h."s essionkey"='null' 2009-08-27 08:45:18 PDTERROR: schema "mail" does not exist at character 36 2009-08-27 08:45:18 PDTSTATEMENT: SELECT mail.message."primary" FROM mail.message WHERE mail.message."status"<>1 ORDER BY mail.message."senddate" 2009-08-27 08:46:42 PDTERROR: schema "security" does not exist at character 40 2009-08-27 08:46:42 PDTSTATEMENT: SELECT s."username" AS "username" FROM "security"."usersecurity" s, "security"."loginhistory" h WHERE h."fkusersecurity" = s."primary" AND h."s essionkey"='dbrestoreff52107c537fd8eff074044a549bc0fe' 2009-08-27 08:46:42 PDTLOG: unexpected EOF on client connection Does anyone have suggestions? -- Regards, Richard Broersma Jr. Visit the Los Angeles PostgreSQL Users Group (LAPUG) http://pugs.postgresql.org/lapug |

I also note that going to the "oADMIN" screen give me a completely blank page except for a horizontal dividing bar that can be moved up or down. There is nothing else visible at all however... Alan |

Hi Guys, I have setup tomcat 5.5, postgresql 8.1 and installed once:radix as described on a custom linux server I have lying around. I get the login screen and can successfully login with the "once:once123" username and password. There doesn't seem to be much else though... Once I have logged in and select continue I get to a screen with the home bar across the top and three "very small" menu items on the far right: A small diamond, Contacts and Security. The menus are self explanatory but what to enter and in which order is not... Requesting help I get: HTTP Status 404 - /once/help/Client/index.html type Status report message /once/help/Client/index.html description The requested resource (/once/help/Client/index.html) is not available. Apache Tomcat/5.5.23 Could someone give me an idea of how to start doing something? Should I create a new organisation, user and give them access to all three apps: oADMIN, oCLI and oED? A brief outline of how to start would be useful. Also, using the editor screen I briefly see some menu stuff down the left hand side but that disappears and I am left with a pretty blank page and no tools... Ahhhh if I right click I get the standard Firefox/Gnome menu but UNDERNEATH that is an Ajax menu for developing the page. That's weird - If you don't look really hard you'll miss the Ajax menu. But the editor asks me to open file to start with so I picked index.html. Now I don't really want to edit that. I'd like to build a new app - where to start??? I'd really like to try this out and help if I can, but I can't seem to get started.... My client is Ubuntu 7.0.4 and Firefox 2.0.0.6 Thanks Alan |
