[Obo-discuss] Phenomap anatomy (TAO)

Hello,
            On behalf of the Phenomap project, we would like to house  
our anatomy ontology (TAO) under the
the OBO sourceforge project, making use of cvs space and a tracker.   
As some of you are aware, Phenomap
is developing ontologies for morphology and taxonomy to cover the  
Ostariophyi, a large clade that includes
the zebra fish.  We will seed this ontology by cloning the ZFA  
ontology into our own namespace (with xrefs
back to ZFA), and start extending it to deal with our cross species  
data.

Wasila Dahdul, our data curator, and I will work with Melissa Haendel  
to develop tracking protocols between our
TAO ontology and the ZFA ontology this week.

We will be requesting the same for our taxonomy ontology, which I  
understand will generate more discussion, in the
near future.
