Comment:

 This ticket covers two separate issues. Please restrict tickets to one
 single issue.

 Switching to/remaining in focus mode when you tab to radio buttons is
 intentional. This is done because radio buttons are adjusted using up/down
 arrows, so focus mode needs to be on to work with them. If you want to
 return to browse mode, press escape.

 The issue with checkboxes/radio buttons sometimes reporting the wrong
 checked state is a bug in Adobe Reader.
