You mustn't hit enter after you see "About to boot kernel:..." ! You have to wait until both the kernel and the installer ramdisk image=20= are extracted and after that miboot will enter the kernel. This may take some time on your system - just wait. It might also be that your PowerBook simply doesn't have enough memory=20= to extract both the kernel and installer ramdisk into the main memory. As I already said you need at least 24 MB of RAM (and perhaps even that=20= might not be enough). As Daniel already said you can find out how much memory you have by=20 booting from the boot floppy or the MacOS CD and then clicking on the=20 apple in the upper left corner and selecting the very first menu item=20 ("About this macintosh" or something like this).
