Is it a PowerBook 1400 or similar? You may need to hold Command + Option + Shift + Delete to boot from CD; this prevents the hard drive from mounting, and forces the ROM to search for a bootable installation elsewhere, usually the CD. Be sure to release the keys when you see the Mac OS smiley face/miBoot logo, or your hard drive may not be detected. --Guy Paddock -----Original Message----- From: nub...@li... Subject: Re: [Nubus-pmac-users] New miboot.iso For some reason I cannot create a bootable image from the latest miboot.iso. I tried in Linux and on MacosX, with disk utility and Toaster. Burning the file as an ISO9660 doesn't result in a bootable cd on my scsi-cdrom. I also tried mounting the iso and then burned the contents as a HFS folder, I even tried different brands of cd's. What am I missing here, or has something changed compared to the earlier iso's that booted without problems? Does it only work with the media bay cdrom for some reason?
