Category: General Group: 2.0 Series Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Amir Szekely (kichik) Summary: 2.12 problem with StopZilla 4.13 Initial Comment: Hello, i'm cofounder and technical director of Kheops Studio, a small company specialized in adventure games and we are using NSIS for installation of our games. A customer post us a problem with our The Secrets of DaVinci game which was that no autorun was starting when cd was inserted or nothing happened when install.exe was launched. After investigation it was the presence of StopZilla 4.13 that causes the problem with 2.12 NSIS which was used for our latest game. Uninstalling StopZilla makes that install.exe works correctly. I wanted you to be advise of this problem. The customer said that he will contact StopZilla developper. We tried the latest version 2.18 and it doesn't lead to the problem. i don't know up to which version the problem exist. Maybe only in 2.12 ? if you want more informaions you can contact me at sp...@kh.... This player has also the problem with another game using maybe de same version of NSIS. Thanks to all for your work. It's a false positive on their side. I've sent them a message about this problem and so should you and the consumer. They should release a new definition file that stops this problem. For an immediate solution, you should rebuild your installer with a newer version. As you said, they only have a problem with version 2.12 at the moment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1526507&group_id=22049 |
