UTF-8 and Unicode are not an easy addition. There's already a patch for it, but it'll take time to integrate and even then resulting installers will only work on Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista and not 9x. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=277381 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2007-09-26 02:49 Message: Logged In: NO Brother, I am working on that... I will send them to you tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I had gone somewhere there I didn't have access to my personal computer (of course). Other wise, I would have finished them a few days ago! When is the new release??????? Why don't you add the support of Utf-8?? You cannot do it.. or is there any other type of problem??? Whatever the case is.......... I am going to encode them in the format you like!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Date: 2007-09-25 12:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=584402 Originator: NO Any update? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2007-09-12 20:12 Message: Logged In: NO you can check it at www.pashtosoft.com I will save it as Ansi!!! no problem but text will not be displayed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Date: 2007-09-11 11:07 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=584402 Originator: NO I don't know a program called Pashto Ascii, so I can't tell. If it works on your computer and other computers without any changes after using this program, then I guess it's OK. You should define MUI_LANGDLL_ALLLANGUAGES at the top of your script. Nothing in the strings of the new English.nsh are new, it's just a new format. You define strings with another command and they're wrapped in another !ifdef, but the strings themselves are the same. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2007-09-09 00:11 Message: Logged In: NO I have an application called "Pashto Ascii" which converts Pashto text to Ascii!! can I use that application to convert Pashto text to Ascii??? will it work then? (it needs a special font to be applied on the converted text called "pashto ascii"). I tested it today it worked correctly. You have written a command to use it to display the other languages' text correctly but where should I use it?????? I don't certainly know which portions of the new version are new, to translate them. can you help me???? thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Date: 2007-09-07 23:39 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=584402 Originator: NO The updated format is part of NSIS 2.30 and is located in Contrib\Language files\English.nsh. UTF-8 will not be displayed properly, you must use ANSI. In Farsi, they used similar characters for characters unsupported by codepage 1256. It's the best you can do for now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: zabeeh khan (zabeehkhan) Date: 2007-09-07 21:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1878120 Originator: NO yes i want to translate the updated version!! where can i downloaded from??? Pashto text is not supported in Ascii!!! if i encode it in ascii so the text will not be displayed??? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Date: 2007-08-31 01:16 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=584402 Originator: NO I didn't have the time yet. You should translate Contrib\Language files\English.nlf and English.nsh. After you're done, submit those as a patch in the patch tracker. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373088&aid=1781921&group_id=22049 |
