Since when are computer programmers, etc., supposed to be endowed with all kinds of wonderful social graces, anyway? Seems to me that starting some kind of boycott that might end up turning off a lot of users, is along the same lines as any of a number of other "social" things that they maybe should have known better than to do, but they did it anyway. One really can't be too surprised, or shocked, at such things. Some people are probably just a bit more public in their snafu's, is the only major difference that I see.
