I'd like to see a function which will remove all comments and extra whitespace from the original file and then export it to a new file, so it will be faster uploading and downloading. It'd remove tabs (or format spacing), carriage returns, more than one space except for spaces inside of <pre>, and comments. Thanks. Hope to see it implemented.

TextFX has some whitespace killing functions, have you tried those out yet?
