I've noticed that if I have modified files open, Notepad++ will prompt to reload all of them when I exit, which is rather useless because I'm, well, trying to EXIT - why would I want to reload files THEN? Is there any way to disable this, without disabling the ability to prompt to reload files that I'm actually looking at when they change?

Not sure if I understand this. If a file has been modified outside N++, doesn't the prompt appear immediately when N++ receives focus? I don't see how you can exit before the prompt appears.
