[Ngspice-devel] parameter sweep in .dc

Hi

I was hoping to add parameter sweeps to the .dc function (like many of the
commercial simulators).  I am having trouble figuring out what I need to do
to have the parameter change with the sweep.

I was wondering if there are plans to add this? or if work has already
started on it that I could help with?


if not, It would be great if anyone had thoughts on how I should try to
implement this feature.


So far, I think that I will need to fo the following, but I cannot manage
to get it to work:

in src/frontend/inpcom.c:
    like the "temper" and "time", skip handling so they are treated like
B-source

in src/spicelib/parser/inpptree.c:
    add a PT_VAR for each parameter in device

in src/spicelib/analysis/dctrcurv.c:
    add a section similar to the "temp" section for variables

** I know this is a controlled voltage source.
