Since updating to 3.0.2, afpd is logging countless errors like this: Mar 22 08:49:54 data afpd[16746]: [ID 702911 daemon.error] sys_lsetxattr("/tank/Backups/Time Machine/."): Permission denied Yet the permissions on that directory are actually fairly open: john@data:/tank/Backups/Time Machine# ls -alFh total 52 drwxrwxrwx 4 root backup 6 Mar 22 08:49 ./ drwxrwx--- 7 root backup 9 Mar 20 14:33 ../ -rw-rw-rw- 1 john staff 298 Mar 12 14:14 .apdisk -rw-rw-rw- 1 john staff 6.0K Mar 22 07:00 .DS_Store drwxrwsrwt 3 john staff 3 Mar 12 14:14 .TemporaryItems/ drwx------+ 3 john staff 10 Mar 22 08:49 John-Laptop.sparsebundle/ I've no ACLs applied to this directory, its parent, or its contents. It's all just posix permissions. How should I interpret that error, and what permissions should I fix? This is an OpenIndiana server, 151a7, with a ZFS filesystem. I got the occasional sys_lsetxattr error with 3.0.1, but these are all new, and logging practically non-stop. Thanks! j |
