Hi. Retrospect running on our OS9.2 machine backs up most of our netatalk 1.6.4 volumes fine. However we have one volume full of files with long names that breaks Retrospect 4 with a -1072 error and Retrospect 5 with a -120 error (file/folder not found). I have run acleandir root@dtp:/hal/directors# acleandir.rc -rv ./ .//usert/backup/.AppleDouble/:2eDS_Store removed .//usert/backup/.AppleDouble/New email address.eml removed .//usert/backup/.AppleDouble/Word Work File D_2 removed .//usert/backup/.AppleDouble/bill.dmg removed .//usert/backup/.AppleDouble/report.txt removed But there are still problems. The /etc/netatalk/AppleVolumes.default file defines this volume as : /hal/directors "Directors" allow:@directors,it options:noadouble following Alistair Riddell's advice earlier this week. However I have not done anything to clean or otherwise update the volument since upgrading from the 1.5 series of netatalk. The server log shows: Mar 26 10:22:44 afpd[29665][server_child.c:270]: I:Default: server_child[1] 27449 killed Is the solution to simply move to an OSX version of Retrospect? Thanks for any advice, Rory -- Rory Campbell-Lange <ro...@ca...> <www.campbell-lange.net> |
