Can you double check that you've typed 'export'? If yes: 1) find with ps the pid of papd and double check that you have ATALK_MAC_CHARSET and ATALK_UNIX_CHARSET in /proc/<pid>/environ daemon could sanitize the env before starting papd. ANSI_X3.4-1968 is ASCII the default value when ATALK_UNIX_CHARSET is not set. 2) What printer do you use, LaserWriter? if not can you try with this one. BTW does it print?
