Bugs item #693167, was opened at 2003-02-25 12:43 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=693167&group_id=12694 Category: apps Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: snmptrapd -S option unusable Initial Comment: There is a mistake in the Net-SNMP 5.0.7 snmptrapd getopt() options string declaration that prevents the -S option from working. The -S option expects a value, but the declaration of the options string tells getopt() it doesn't have one. On line 890 of snmptrapd.c, change "ac:CdD::efF:hHl:m:M:no:PqsSvO:-:" to "ac:CdD::efF:hHl:m:M:no:PqsS:vO:-:" (insert a ':' following the 'S') to fix the problem. I do not know how many previous versions may have had this problem; I just upgraded from an ancient version of ucd-snmp where I was using the -l option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=693167&group_id=12694 |
