It will install regardless, but SNMP-Util-1.8 will give an error when run. home# make test PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/local/bin/perl "-I../blib/lib" "- I../blib/arch" test.pl 1..64 ok 1 ok 2 ok 3 ok 4 ok 5 ok 6 ok 7 ok 8 ok 9 ok 10 ok 11 ok 12 ok 13 ok 14 ok 15 ok 16 ok 17 ok 18 ok 19 ok 20 ok 21 ok 22 ok 23 ok 24 ok 25 ok 26 ok 27 ok 28 ok 29 ok 30 ok 31 ok 32 ok 33 ok 34 ok 35 ok 36 ok 37 ok 38 ok 39 ok 40 ok 41 ok 42 ok 43 ok 44 ok 45 ok 46 ok 47 ok 48 ok 49 ok 50 ok 51 ok 52 ok 53 ok 54 ok 55 ok 56 ok 57 ok 58 ok 59 ok 60 ok 61 ok 62 ok 63 ok 64 PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/local/bin/perl "-I../blib/lib" "- I../blib/arch" test.pl 1..9 ok 1 ok 2 ok 3 ok 4 ok 5 ok 6 ok 7 ok 8 ok 9 PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/local/bin/perl "-I../blib/lib" "- I../blib/arch" test.pl 1..35 ok 1 not ok 2 # Failed test 2 in test.pl at line 19 not ok 3 # Failed test 3 in test.pl at line 20 not ok 4 # Failed test 4 in test.pl at line 25 not ok 5 # Failed test 5 in test.pl at line 30 oid1 is not of type netsnmp_oidPtr at ../blib/lib/NetSNMP/OID.pm line 122. *** Error code 2 Stop in /home/tboenadie/net-snmp-5.0.6/perl/OID. *** Error code 1 Stop in /home/tboenadie/net-snmp-5.0.6/perl. PS: I'm really new in Perl. So after weeks of trying to find an answer on the net, I've given up and thought I may get help here. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2003-01-04 00:32 Message: Logged In: NO thanks dts12, thank you, thank you, thank you. It seemed to fix the problem. I still see other errors during make test on both perl module and snmp-util, but at least when I run the script it doesn't give me any errors. best of all, it's working again :) thanks again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2003-01-04 00:31 Message: Logged In: NO thanks dts12, thank you, thank you, thank you. Static libraries, or shared libraries? The Perl modules *MUST* use shared libraries to work properly - in particular to initialise the internal MIB data structures. I suspect that if you re-configure/compile the system using configure --enable-shared then you'll find that the Perl tests will work OK. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=661383&group_id=12694 |
