It is a patch that improves memory allocation failure handling. I am in an environment where we happened to run out of dynamic memory, so I made an effort to impcrove the handling of memory allocation failures. I think I have got most of them. I have to move on to some other things, so I wanted to ensure that I submitted this patch before moving on.
