Category: None Group: None >Status: Pending >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: pass-persist Initial Comment: Snmpd will not return errors for set commands executed by a pass-persist extension. (See bug report 864281). The problem is that snmp_agent.c:handle_var_requests will only return an error in MODE_SET_COMMIT if the error is SNMP_ERR_COMMITFAILED. Errors such as "wrong-type" will be ignored. Now, pass_persist.c:setPassPersist will only call the pass-persist program if the action is COMMIT. The patch changes this behavior in setPassPersist to make it the same as what happens in pass.c:setPass where the pass script is only called if the action is ACTION. The patch is with respect to version 5.2.1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Thomas Anders (tanders) Date: 2005-10-06 11:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=848638 I think this has been fixed in CVS recently. Can you please retest with 5.2.2.pre3 and report back? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312694&aid=1306914&group_id=12694 |
