Patches item #849154, was opened at 2003-11-25 10:16 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312694&aid=849154&group_id=12694 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Stephen J. Friedl (sjfriedl) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: 5.1: patch to fix memleak in snmp_shutdown() Initial Comment: It seems that snmp_shutdown() doesn't free up all the resources it's allocated, and for software that does a little SNMP chitchat and then does other things yields a memory leak. It's not really a large leak, but fixing it didn't look so difficult. The patch text has more discussion on the three files modified, but I'm not 100% sure that the cleanup proposed in the patch is done in the right order. Tested on Win32 with NET-SNMP-5.1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=312694&aid=849154&group_id=12694 |
