Category: agent Group: solaris Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: ram_0000 (ram_0000) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Trap not sent with some IP addresses Initial Comment: Hi support, I have a strange behaviour with snmpd. To reproduce the problem, I use a snmpd.conf file with ONLY one line in it : "trapsink xx.xx.xx.xx" When IP address is 14.14.14.14 and when snmpd daemon is restarted (/etc/init.d/netsnmpd restart), a trap is sent, that's OK. When IP address is 14.14.14.15 (only one digit of the IP address is modified) and when snmpd daemon is restarted, no trap is sent. Is there something I don't understand or is there a strange bug (I didn't understood the method to have a good or bad address) NET-SNMP version is 5.4.2.1 OS is "SunOS cor1qip01 5.10 Generic_142909-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise" Kind regards Raymond ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112694&aid=3327189&group_id=12694 |
