Category: mibs Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Tomasz Lis (listom) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: table_iterator problem, exposed in nsVacmAccessTable Initial Comment: When trying to add new user privileges using "NET-SNMP-VACM-MIB" module, I get error: "(inconsistentValue) The set value is illegal or unsupported in some way". This happens when setting nsVacmStatus to active(1). Reason is that my previous SET operation didn't really set string value to nsVacmViewName. Reason for above seems to be that netsnmp_extract_iterator_context() returns NULL in nsVacmAccessTable_handler(). This way a condition commented "should never hapen" is entered. Reason for netsnmp_extract_iterator_context() returning NULL seems to be that "table_iterator" entry is not added to requests with modes MODE_SET_RESERVE2 or MODE_SET_COMMIT. Please let me know how if my reasoning path is correct. Any hints on how to properly fix it are also welcome.
