We wanted to have the application be its own agent so that we wouldn't need to run a separate master agent on the box. Is it possible to implement an agent using the UCD-SNMP library? I suggest you strongly consider making this an AgentX subagent, rather than talking SNMP directly. (Or at the very least, as well). That would make it *much* easier to integrate your server with an existing SNMP environment.
