Category: agent Group: aix >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: init_agent throws segmentation fault error Initial Comment: I am using net-snmp-5.2.1 on the following machine configuration AIX 2 5 00C036DA4C00 when my application calls init_agent, it throws segmentation fault . When I attach dbx to the core dumped, it shows the error as Segmentation fault in netsnmp_ds_set_boolean at 0xd6b4dac0 ($t1) 0xd6b4dac0 (netsnmp_ds_set_boolean+0x8) 800c0000 lwz r0,0x0(r12) I tried with a simple cpp propgram which just has a main funtion from where I call only init_agent, still it had the same problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 03/25/06 19:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. I would try it with GCC on AIX and see if that fixes the problem... Wes (who just noticed he's not logged in either) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Thomas Anders (tanders) Date: 09/26/05 01:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=848638 You need to tell us more: - output of "uname -a" - your build configuration ("net-snmp-config --configure-options") - attach your sample C program - Have your tried 5.2.2.pre1? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 09/25/05 08:13 Message: Logged In: NO One mor ething I want an answer on urgent basis but I did not change the priority... I am not able to change it now... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 09/25/05 08:10 Message: Logged In: NO Sorry I submitted this bug without any identity..
