Thanks Dave What I really want to do is to get my modules to re-run there init_MY_MODULE or a function called by a signal. Since I need some information from an other daemon running on my = system. I use a shared memory controlled by semaphores for now. But I've got = some memory leaks in there. And since the changes don't come to often I = Just want to signal the snmpd that a change as occurred, and then it will it = self fetch the needed changes. That is why I want to know if there is a way to implement user defined signals and/or if the signal -HUP will init the modules. And = also if there is a chance to get some weird behaviours from the agent if = signals come often. Thanks again. =20 -----Original Message----- From: Dave Shield [mailto:D.T...@cs...] Sent: 31 ao=FBt, 2001 04:17 To: Nathaniel Mercure Cc: net...@li... That's not quite the same as a full re-initialisation, but it goes a reasonable way towards that goal. Dave |
