Tru64 X environment/Linux nedit bombs

I use reflection X to log in to a Tru64 server running Tru64 V5.1a. I then open up a telnet window on my monitor (with the Tru64 CDE environment), log in to a Linux server and try to run nedit V5.5. i get a seg fault and a core dump immediately (no nedit window appears). There is some incompatibility between my Tru64 CDE X environment and layering a Linux telnet window on top of it and then trying to run nedit on my Linux server.
when i reflection X directly into my Linux server, nedit runs fine. please advise. i need to be able to run nedit on my Linux server while i am reflection X-ed into my Tru64 server.
Thanks.

Don't have access to Reflection X. Does the problem repro with just running on Linux and sending the display to a CDE Alpha desktop?

So, do you login to Linux from the Tru64 box or directly from Windows?
Also, do you use the binary from our website? Could you provide us with the output of 'nedit -V'?
