I recently purchased a TRENDnet TEW-423PI adapter for my PC. The wireless adapter works great under windblows but does not work with ndiswrapper. Per the List page I downloaded the netgear WG3111v2 driver files and tried the packaged ones on the CD that came with the card. I get the same result with both: [root@orahome1 ~]# ndiswrapper -l No drivers installed [root@orahome1 ~]# ndiswrapper -i netgear/Driver/Windows\ XP/wg311v2.inf Installing wg311v2 [root@orahome1 ~]# ndiswrapper -l Installed ndis drivers: wg311v2 driver present lspci shows: 01:07.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.: Unknown device 1faa (rev 03) Subsystem: Marvell Technology Group Ltd.: Unknown device 1faa Flags: bus master, 66Mhz, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 11 Memory at feac0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K] Memory at fead0000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K] Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2 Machine is using Fedora Core4 with the 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp kernel. The computer itself is a Dell GX270 and this is the only card installed at this time. Any help would be appreciated. -Bennett |
