I've encountered what I hope is a minor problem. Compiling this gives a warning where none was before - line 1301, which is just "bin_out". Looking at the "bin_out" function, I saw that where '.35 has as a parameter "const void *data", your latest says just "void *data", so I stuck a "const" in there. That gets a complaint about "p = data". So I tried "const unsigned char *p" - and that gives a whole flock of warnings. Obviously, I'm going backwards! (also obvious that I'm operating by "trial and error") I'm thinking maybe copy "data" (its contents) to someplace local, and work with that? What's the "right" way to fix this? Cluelessly, Frank |
