There seemed to be a consensus that the more popular tasks could move to the NAnt project, be updated to be compatible in the process, and would be kept in sync as the Nant core changes. I think it would be great if on the nantcontrib list people mailed in to say which tasks they were using to help the project committees decide what they want to move over. I also raised the suggestion that maybe Nantcontrib could be retired completely (with all its tasks moving to Nant), but Ian replied saying it was a good location for tasks that have low usage, which seems fair. It seemed a relevant point to bring up on this thread though since someone mentioned the idea of shipping Nantcontrib with Nant. Mike |
