Hello, i've found a bug that affects all line editors. The problem is that a newly introduced function does return a valid but empty string when it should return NULL (*no* string), as did the predecessor, causing calling functions to treat the returned value as a «real» one – this causes, e.g., the `~@' attachment loop to continue forever, since it tries to attach a file with no name, instead of stopping the iteration. The fix is attached, and *next* users will get the update if they pull in the changes this saturday. (Not today, i'm half in getting clang(1) -Weverything running on FreeBSD 10 – poooh! But i hope the diff can be patched into your codebase…) Besides – i have changed the roadmap and will release two more v14 minor versions instead of only one. The first will take place at the end of September i hope, the other will happen around christmas. (The loudly proclaimed spamassassin(1) hook (and thus the drop of Ritter's junk and score mechanisms) will hopefully make it into the latter.) I'll do so because i drown in more and more TODO entries, and so to get this pretty stable stuff off from the table. Just some more, and fixing the thread sorting issue… Ciao, --steffen |
