Hello list, Ralphs puzzling will hopefully be fixed at the end of this week, once i release yet another minor version, v13.2. That'll fix the too rigidly, maybe overambitiously handled improve-name-extraction topic and will make things like :m alias1 ./file1 alias2 etc. work again, i.e., comma separation will no longer be a requirement for recipient lists. Noticeable further improvements will be: - A new *sendmail-progname* variable that can be used to set the name that is seen by the called mail delivery systems. This change will actually unbreak MTA delivery on NetBSD 6, where there is no "send-mail" entry in /etc/mailer.conf(5) anymore, but only "sendmail". With *sendmail-progname* users will henceforth have an option to unbreak by themselves. - When editing via ~e or ~v file or pipe recipients will no longer disappear after editing is completed. This will not be backported to heirloom-plus. - Another goody for all that trouble will be a major improvement in string allocation performance. I think v13.2 will last for some time, then. Regards and ciao, --steffen |
