Hi,=20 MyOE is not dead! I just commited log of change to the CVS, the current code also include a version of PERST code, this seems buggy and unstable, so we'll continue with ms-access database for some time. I plan to make change in myoe architecture, look the attached word document. So I believe that could be a great idea to release a myoe version soon, without those change, if you could test the current CVS version and report/fix bugs that you'll find, it would be very great. Once 0.5 is released we will have to define plugin interfaces, I'll post message about that later. For now if you could: - test current CVS version in order to make a correct 0.5 version. - read and review the attached document (very critic for myoe future). - think about a new name for myoe, I got the following proposition: MC.NET (mail client), Mail.NET, SharpLook, SharpLook.NET, SharpLookOut, .NETMail, MailView, MailExpress. Tell me what you think! ps: sorry for the big CVS commit, I lost CVS access for a while, now it should be ok, so change will be smaller and comes faster. re-ps: I also setup a nightly snapshot of myoe source, available from http://myoe.sourceforge.net if you don't know what to do (I know I'm dreaming;), testing it, for 2002 compatibily for instance can be great. --=20 Quentin Pouplard (Tene/MyOE) http://www.myoe.org | http://graff.alrj.org |
