My Basic Asset Manager / News: Recent posts

I have a new version available to use. It contains many updates including the option to register new users, add buddys etc.

Some AJAX has been added to improve the interface.

I have added the first release of my basic asset manager. The functionality is current limited to loggin in, adding new items to your list and assinging these items to your friends. You can also use the options to email your friends to keep an item, borrow and item, or ask for an item to be returned.

The mysql tables need to be created via an attached .sql file to create the 4 tables needed.

The users and friends details will need to be added manually to the users and friends tables for now. The next release will have a user interface for this.... read more

This started off as a small app to manage the PC related items I swap with family.

I have added it to Sourceforge to encourage development and hopefully to provide a small useful application for people to download and use.

The current aim is to create an admin section to install the package for new users and the ability to add users to begin managing borrowed items.
