The mythtv frontend gives you a lot of control, but I would think it would be awkward on a tv. I know I find it awkward on my computer with a keyboard. I think I could live with the complicated, once a week type tasks being left to the current mythtv frontend. My vision is more along the lines of the tv guide that is built into my tv. It is so simple that anyone can use it, and it is impossible to screw things up. Then again, another idea would be an inteface with both novice and expert modes. Jon |
