You can do this by adding something like this to your dongle.config - I use the "Big Orange" theme hence the colour choice

        <color type="fg" alpha="50%">white</color>

    </widget>
</mvpmctheme>
EOF

This would change the settings for all instances of the warning dialog.

Or I have another patch that adds a second warning widget and allows you to set another colour scheme specifically for alerts.

Anyone got a preference?
