Is there anyway to pipe data to and from the local disc? I can't find anything to suggest that it's available. So baring that, it seems that the only ways to introduce softcode are 1) place the file in the pkg directory, shut the muq down and use muq-c-lib to insert it into the db. 2) paste/quote it into your term program. Option 2 isn't so horrible when working locally but working locally isn't always an option. Option 1 seems to require shutting the muq server down which I'm guessing shoudl never be necessary. The only way to save softcode I've found from the system is to log the 'function.function.source.source , output or somethign along that line though it seems like precompiled functions don't have anything stored in that slot. So I guess my question is, what's the intended way to do things? |
