Hi! I'm testing the various plugins in 1.1.7 on FreeBSD, and I'm wondering what autoconf means for a manual plugin. Some of those plugins have autoconf == yes, some don't even though they require no manual intervention: Plugin | Used | Suggestions ------ | ---- | ----------- ircu | no | [Net::IRC not found] loggrep | no | multips | no | yes munin_graph | no | munin_update | no | ntp_states | no | yes ping_ | no | psu_ | no | squid_icp | no | [could not connect: Connection refused] sybase_space | no | uptime | no | yes While multips is useless without a config, munin_graph and munin_update can be used out of the box. I believe autoconf should by yes if all requirements are there to use the plugin. If this is OK with this list, I will submit a patch to support it. This would make the following plugins return yes: loggrep munin_graph munin_update. The sybase_space plugin would check if it can be used and return yes in that case. Of course the same should apply to the contrib plugins.
