Perhaps, rather than using the MRBS framework, you (as in the =20 hypothetical, could be anybody!) write a script to insert x number of =20= appointments directly into the DB so that the skeleton appointments =20 are a 'one off' event, and if/when they get overwritten, there's no =20 repeat function to break? Basically, it would be a one-off operation to populate the DB with =20 overwritable appointment blocks....
