Hi, Harshada :)

You're not really giving us enough information to help you... So - I 
have a couple of questions: What is the exact error message you're 
getting?  Without that, we can't even begin to help. :)  Also, an idea 
of the operating system and web server software on which you're 
installing the software would be useful (Windows and Apache?  Which 
version of Apache?  Which version of PHP and SQL are you using?). :)

Secondly, what are the exact steps you've taken to install the software 
(you don't have to give me specific settings or anything, but the 
general sort of: I unzipped the files into a directory on my web server, 
I created a MySQL or PostgreSQL (please specify) database called 
<database name> and imported the tables and data using  the following 
command: <command>).

Also, unless you're browsing the web on your web server (which I don't 
recommend), using 'http://localhost/<anything>' isn't going to work.
